Our guiding principles
Build Relationships
Big ideas that change the world are not just great products but great people and relationships that work as a catalyst for success. We build relationships that quantum leap financial performance and excellent execution.
People are the most valuable resource in any organization. Connecting the right people to the right products in the right process is what gives integral strength to organizations. We are always thinking long term beyond the transaction and want to grow our relationships by focusing on the ‘We’ rather than “me”.
Network Resources
Big ideas always start small but grow when dynamically resourced with powerhouse people, product and process. Individual resources can run wide and deep but will always be limited to one’s own abilities if not networked as part of a greater strategy.
At SIG we have network of international resources that could never be realized individually. Projects will flounder and fail without adequate resources, so at SIG we bring resources together that synergize so projects see explosive growth along with a solid infrastructure.
Impact Humanity
We have supported humanitarian efforts in China, Guatemala, Honduras, Nigeria, Belize, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua and Haiti.
Big ideas bring change in industry and economy but in the words of Darden School of management professor and Conscious Capitalism, Inc trustee Ed Freeman,
“We need red blood cells to live (the same way a business needs profits to live), but the purpose of life is more than to make red blood cells (the same way the purpose of business is more than simply to generate profits).”
Any business empowered with profit and the sense of a greater purpose is a force to impact humanity. We love projects that help 2nd and 3rd world countries develop economies locally, and reduce dependence on foreign/government aide.
The answer for change resides in empowering change from the inside out. We are committed to re-investing a portion of our human and financial capital on humanitarian efforts globally. We focus our efforts in the education, energy, healthcare, food and clean water sectors. We use our for profit technologies as leverage to bring affordable solutions to some of the poorest people on the planet.
